HEATHER’s SUMMER WORKSHOPS IN LINCOLN – PROGRAMME COMING SOON
Please note these workshops are for those who already have basic skills in knitting and crochet and who wish to extend/refresh their skills and find the confidence to take their knitting and crochet a little further. The workshops will be small groups (maximum of eight people) to ensure close tuition and will take place at my house where car parking is available. The nearest bus and railway station is Lincoln (Lincolnshire, UK) and if you arrive by bus or train you will need to take a taxi from the station to my house.
Ravelry Group: HeatherHaynesKnits
You can find me on Ravelry as HEATHERofHHKNITS.
A HeatherHaynesKnits group has been set up on Ravelry for those attending workshops so you can post photos of your projects and remain in contact with those you meet. You will also be able to raise any queries you may have after the workshops.
Afternoon Technique Workshops
These will be from 2pm – 5pm. Tea and coffee will be provided.
The basics of the technique being taught will be explained to you and you will be provided with written workshop sheets. You will knit or crochet swatches which you will take away with you and the yarn for these will be provided on the day.
Project Workshops
These will be all day workshops. Tea and coffee will be provided.
The morning session will run from 10.30am – 12.30pm and the afternoon session will run from 1.30pm – 3.30pm. Please bring a packed lunch for the lunch break.
The yarn and pattern for the project will be provided. The pattern will be explained and you will be provided with written workshop sheets. You will work on techniques required to complete the pattern in the workshop. Any yarn required to knit or crochet swatches will be provided. You should then be able to complete your project at home.
